Fluffy is a complete coat and short hair care solution in the Unity editor. It also supports Alembic hair and fur created in third-party apps.
Highlights:
- Fluffy supports alpha sorting, so you can use transparent materials with good z-sorting.
- It works with any shader, so you don’t have to create your own shaders to use it.
- The solution integrates gravity, wind, physics, and colliders, and the simulations are done using computer shaders, so it’s very fast.
- Shape blending and HDRP ray tracing also work out of the box.
- The plants you create can also be exported to mesh or skins, so you can use them to create bushes, grassy areas, and more.
- This option also allows you to use it on platforms that don’t support compute shaders.
- There is also support for LOD and trunk culling.
