Beautify is a full-screen image post-processing effect that improves the image quality in real-time, producing incredibly crisp and vivid scenes.
Beautify 3 adds support for Unity 2022 (also supporting 2020 and 2021), includes new antialiasing and cinematic band effects, and adds new options and improvements to bloom, anamorphic flares, outline, chromatic aberration, and depth of field.
Highlights:
- Enhances visual features, restores or augments image detail, and produces sharp images; in many cases, the change can be dramatic, like switching to high definition.
- When necessary, improve pixel color without oversaturating the image.
- Removes the additional blur caused by many antialiasing post effects.
- Reduces or completely removes banding artifacts in gradients, usually seen in sky boxes due to color quantization.
- Improves texture perception—even low-resolution textures look better.
- Supports forward and delayed rendering paths, as well as linear and gamma color spaces.
- Supports WebGL, mobile, 2D, and 3D.
- VR Multi-Pass, Single Pass Stereo, and Single Pass Instances are supported in the built-in pipeline.
- VR Multi-Pass is supported in PPSv2.

In addition to the unique image enhancement algorithm, Beautify also includes advanced, high-quality effects with unique options. All these effects are carefully engineered for performance and correctly integrated into the same render pass for superior performance.
- Sun Lens Flares. Fast GPU flares with diffraction ghosts, a halo, and animated sun rays
- Purkinje. Under low-light conditions, it simulates retinal achromatic vision as well as a blue spectrum shift.
- Outline. adds a colored border to all objects. depth- or color-based (Sobel) modes (works in 3D and 2D).
- Chromatic aberration or chromatic distortion, simulates light rays passing through a lens focusing at different points, depending on their wavelength.
- Daltonize. intensifies the pure red, green, and blue basic colors.
- Cinematic bands. integrated, fast, and customizable black bars to give an even more cinematic look to your scenes.
- Antialising. smoothes jagged edges. simple but very fast option as it runs in the same render pass.
- Depth of field. with bokeh With autofocus and hexagonal highlights, this is a classic photographic effect that smoothly blurs the image based on the distance to the focus point. supports Transparent objects and exclusion layers. Includes many advanced options like foreground blur, autofocus, custom focus distance, target follow, etc.
- Anamorphic flares. Also known as JJ Abrams flares, they add a truly cinematic touch to your scene.
- ACES tonemapping. uses the Academy Color Encoding System to transform from HDR color space into LDR at the optimal stage within the Beautify effect chain
- Color Transformation Using LUTs. Apply your favorite 2D or 3D LUT (look-up texture). includes a LUT browser that works with the optional LUT Pack for Beautify. includes the option to import 3D.CUBE format.

- Lens dirt. spreads the light on the screen when looking at bright sources according to different customizable patterns and spread ratios.
- Eye adaptation. reproduces the retina’s reaction to quick changes in scene luminance with separate options for light and dark adaptation.
- Vignetting. darkens image corners with intensity, color, and mask options. Now with fade-out and blink effects, transitions are cool, and immersive eye effects are available.
- Frame. Add any colored or texture-based rectangular frame. includes a frame browser that lets you explore the matte and artistic frames included in the frame pack.
- Night Vision. Visualize objects in the scene in the dark. includes noise and scan lines.
- Thermal Vision. uses a red-blue spectrum to highlight warm and cool colors. It also adds scan lines, noise, and subtle screen distortion.
- Pixelate. Create a retro-pixelated effect.
- Blur. Add a background blur effect with customizable intensity. Several demo scenes are included to demonstrate the different presets and their effects.
